Then you could be the ideal candidate for the position as Shipping Trainee with EVERGAS.
As a high-profile Shipping Trainee, you will for two years work within two teams in Evergas: Operations and Chartering.
The Operations department’s primary focus is the daily coordination of vessel voyages, while the Chartering team is in charge of securing the company spot and contract coverage in the short and medium-terms.
You will be able to visit one or more of our many vessels at sea or in dry-dock, and can in general expect business related travel activity.
You will participate in the Commercial Shipping Program facilitated by the Danish Shipping Academy (Danish Shipowners’ Association). The training consists of three modules entirely taught in English. As a trainee you will obtain qualifications in the key areas of the industry. You will to a large extent be in charge of your own tasks while working in each department, however a tutor will help you navigate through the traineeship. You are expected to commence a mercantile education with business and shipping relevance (f.ex HD 1st part) during your traineeship.
You have finished high school, “HHX” or similar education with strong results, including mathematics at B-level. Your English skills are solid, and your interests for Shipping and the Global maritime industry are strong.
You have analytical abilities and a commercial and problem solving mindset. You are an independent and outgoing team player. Previous job and travel experience is an advantage, however not a requirement.
You wish to be a contributing team member in Evergas. The employment contract will be on local terms, with office premises in Copenhagen, Denmark.
