Evergas is a Danish shipping company with roots back to 1883, owned by Greenship Gas & Jaccar Holdings. We are one of the world’s leading seaborne transporters of petrochemical gases and natural gas liquids.
Our focus is to make gas transports simple and safe, and to set new standards for efficient and sustainable gas transport at sea.
At Evergas we work hard to support our clients’ requirements by offering innovative and sustainable design solutions for transportation, and distribution of LNG, LPG and ethane commodities across the major areas of trade and emerging markets. To accommodate these needs, we have established a large new-building program at Jaccar-owned yards for operational, technical and commercial excellence upon and after delivery.
Evergas has it's head office in Copenhagen but has offices in Singapore and Shanghai. In total, we employ more than 400 highly experienced and dedicated people.

Mr. Jacobsen has been in shipping since 1980, and has vast experience in LPG & LNG shipping as well as offshore drilling, and oil production.
Prior to joining Evergas, Mr. Jacobsen was the Director at Maersk Drilling, with responsibility for the operations of new-build ultra-deepwater drill ships. Prior to this, he led the technical management of Maersk Tankers with responsibility for 140 vessels in addition to supervising vessels under third party management.
Mr. Jacobsen brings extensive knowledge from his involvement in sustainability within the technical field acquired from his experience within Corporate Social Responsibility and Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management.
Between 2002-2005 he led the technical management of Maersk Line’s container fleet. Mr. Jacobsen has been active as a board member (from 2005) and even President of the Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO) 2011 – 2013. Furthermore, Mr. Jacobsen was chairman of the OCIMF General Purpose Committee from 2010 to 2013.
Mrs. Lindberg joined Evergas in 2012 following a career with Eitzen Group, and Jason Shipping since 1995 where she as Director of Accounting & Finance has been responsible for all financial reporting for more than a decade.
Mrs. Lindberg thus embarks upon a solid shipping and financial background with previous positions held at both Burwain Tankers International A/S and with Dannebrog Rederi A/S.
Mrs. Egebjerg has more than 30 years of shipping experience of which 16 years within the gas industry.
Prior to joining Evergas, Mrs. Egebjerg worked with J. Lauritzen and Maersk Tankers. Joining Evergas from 2006 working within various pool arrangements and then as General Manager since 2011.
Mrs. Egebjerg has over a period of time been involved in all aspects of procurement, logistics and coordination from the owners perspective even though the primary focus has been within the commercial operation.
Mrs. Egebjerg has participated in a number of logistics and leadership courses. Furthermore, Mrs. Egebjerg’s managerial responsibilities include distance management of 3 years.
Mr. Arora joined sea in 1991, and has been with maritime industry in various positions and roles across the globe. During this period he has managed different types of ships though mostly gas. He has been with A P Moller-Maersk for the last 6 years managing their gas and oil tanker fleets in Singapore and Copenhagen.
While Mr. Arora is primarily a technical hand, he also has experience of commercial department as the Global Head of Commercial Operations of a tanker pool responsible for about 100 vessels. He setup the gas fleet from scratch in Singapore, delivering industry leading performance in vetting and safety standards while keeping the costs well in control.
Mr. Arora has served as Panel member & GPC member of SIGTTO. He was the member of Technical Committee of Singapore Shipping Association while in Asia.
Mr. Følbæk joined Evergas in 2016 with 18+ years of experience in shipping & logistics.
Extensive commercial and market experience from spending 6+ years as shipping broker.
Educated in shipping at the Danish Shipowners' association.
Captain Rana have a MBA.
With 24 years of all-round experience in shipping, including 14 years ashore in various capacities in ship management functions at renowned shipping companies like Maersk Line, Maersk Tankers. Heading Ship Management function in Evergas since inception for last 7 years.
Mr. Rævdal joined Evergas in 2014 following a career with Eitzen Group since 2006 as the IT Operation Manager.
Joined Evergas as IT Business Manager with responsibility for shore IT and later vessel IT.
Mr. Rævdal has a background in IT since 1989 with previous positions in Coca-Cola, Carlsberg and a career start in the Royal Danish Navy.
